BFREPA costings, calculated and produced by ADAS, are recognized as the gold standard for the egg-laying sector. Our Cost of Production model is extensively used by retailers, packers, and producers throughout the industry. The costings include a comprehensive annotation section for free-range and organic production and are updated monthly.

We are currently developing costings for white bird production, which is adapting as more flocks reach the end of their laying cycle.

Our costings are validated quarterly through the BFREPA quarterly egg price survey, which aims to confirm the egg prices provided by ADAS.

Feed and pullet prices, along with all other inputs, are reviewed monthly, and historical data is accessible in the member's area.

BFREPA also regularly monitors wholesale prices for caged and free-range eggs, as well as flock data for every production system on a monthly basis.
